Samwoo MCP (CEO Jung Byung-joo), a Busan-based ship parts company, invested 50 billion won in new machinery and production lines and opened an affiliated research institute when it moved its company from Gimhae to Busan last year. It also hired 38 people. It is 67% of the total staff. Samwoo MCP sales were 25.6 billion won last year.
